Internet Marketing, Tread Slowly ! Part- 2

As I discussed with you in my last post, there are only two things that truly matter : "Buying and Selling ".

I'll break it down for you :
Selling : Who are your potential/target customers ? You must be in their shoes and find out what is that would make them feel better (an offer).

Buying : Why anyone should buy from you ? How can they trust you whether you are selling your own product or someone else's product ?

The Next Step- Finding a Niche, choosing a product ?

Internet Marketing- Tread Slowly !

Starting Internet Marketing- Everybody starts somewhere !

I am guessing that you reading this because you want to know where to start? I bet you are fed up of all the scams out there? Well, hopefully this will provide you the information needed to make your first buck online.

I am sure you must have tried every possible resource under the sun and you are still no wiser than before ? To get into internet marketing is about earning big bucks in a short span of time !!

I am sorry folks you are going to be disappointed . It takes a LOT of hard work and effort, and the big bucks don't come quick and easy. However, for those that are prepared to put the effort in the returns are well worth it.

Ease of Internet Marketing is to slip in your boxers and relax on a comfort chair with your laptop. On the other hand if you believe that you can jump in, create a website/blogs, submit it to a few directories or blogs, sit down, relax & watch those thousands of dollars (that you’ve seen in many marketers’ checks) to come, then you need to stop right there. It ain’t gonna happen. You need to think: who you are and where do you want to be in the future. Whether offline or online, there are only two things that matter: “Buying” and “Selling”.

Before you even start creating internet marketing strategy for your self, you need to do a research. That’s where it all begins actually. Just like in any business, you have to understand where you are and what can you do ?

Or may be i can help you find some starters.....(to be continued) coming soon, pl keep a track.

Internet marketing philosophy?

Just how important is Internet marketing philosophy? In a simple sentence it is to have a plan that gives you a measurable and definite way to target your market and position your business so that those looking for what you have to offer are finding you easily.

This is vital to the success of your online business. Would you start a business without a business plan? Would you place your yellow pages ad in an unrelated area just to see if anyone finds it? Or would you place a billboard ad where there is no traffic?

Many new Internet entrepreneurs are very careful when it comes to spending marketing dollars, but have neglected the most effective marketing tool that they have which is a solid Internet marketing philosophy to help them with their business. They seem to focus their money also on the design and development but the planning process and strategy building has been neglected.

Why? So many are under the misconception that a web designer is an expert in the area of Internet marketing and that they are also well versed in search engine optimization. And then they find out the truth. The entrepreneur has spent thousands of dollars and is now ready to launch his business online, yet to discover the following: minimal sales and conversion and subscriptions are slim to none.

Also, there are only minimal requests for services and products, and traffic to the site is way below calculations and expectations.

How could these problems have been avoided? A solid Internet marketing philosophy plan ahead of time could have saved the time, headaches and a lot of money. It can also help position you to your target and niche market as well as increase conversion.

Some examples of solid marketing philosophy are: position your business so those looking can find you easily through search engine optimization and define who and what you are.

Other examples are: how do you approach the clients visiting your new site, do they feel welcomed, and what do you want from them, to buy a product, a newsletter, a report or a service?

Having a prepared Internet marketing philosophy gives you a measurable and definitive way to target your market and position your business so that those looking for what you have to offer are finding you easily.Without it you are virtually missing many key components that will make your business successful and you will soon discover, as many other entrepreneurs have, that it is a huge struggle to overcome.
